Is this a savings account?
No, this is not a savings account that earns interest. It is a deposit account held at our partner bank, Lewis & Clark Bank, Member FDIC. This has the following benefits:
- Funds in your account may be eligible for up to $250,000 of FDIC insurance, which protects you against the failure of a FDIC-insured depository institution.
- Because Exhale is connected to your paycheck, all of your contributions come from your paycheck. This makes it easy to save without having to worry about making deposits or allocating from other accounts.
- You can access your account directly in Exhale, no extra logins required.
- Instead of your money earning interest, it's eligible for a boost. How much you can earn from your boost is determined by your employer.
How do I withdraw the money I've saved in Exhale?
You can withdraw some or all of the money you've saved in Exhale any time and transfer it to your own bank account. Learn how to make a withdrawal.
Keep in mind: if you're eligible for a boost, the amount you withdraw may affect how much money you can earn from your boost. To make the most of your Save Perk, it's best to keep your money in your account and only withdraw if you really need to.
Exhale is a financial technology company and not a bank. Checking account issued by Lewis & Clark Bank, Member FDIC.
